How to Host a Galentine’s Day Party

Here at TPS we like to celebrate all kinds of love, but especially the love of female friendship.  Galentine’s Day falls one day before Valentine’s Day and whether you’re single or attached, we simply love the idea of celebrating friendship love.  Here’s how you can throw the most amazing Galentine’s Day party ever…

  1. Send out custom e-vites

We always recommend using an elevated, higher end e-vite site like PaperlessPost.com to create a custom invitation that can not also be customized but also reflect the Galentine’s Day theme of your party. You can even purchase a customized card from other invitation sites like Minted, Zazzle and Etsy and use the PaperlesPost platform.

2. Create a signature cocktail

What party is complete without a signature cocktail?! We love this Cupid’s Pink Arrow cocktail but feel free to get creative with color and names.

3. Order a heart-shaped pizza

This is definitely a must and makes for a perfect Insta-moment at any Galentine’s Day soiree. You can also try to make your own heart-shaped pizza via this recipe.

4. Create a candy charcuterie board

Charcuterie boards have made a serious comeback and are very on-trend, so we love the idea of taking it to the next level by creating a candy version.

5. Try a beauty treatment

A girl’s night is the perfect time to spa out and have everyone do a face mask or sheet mask. There are tons of fun options on Amazon, including sheet masks that will make you look like a cat or zebra – so fun!

6. Watch a classic movie

While you’re letting your face masks get to work, try watching a fun/nostalgic movie.  Our recommendations: Clueless, Mean Girls, The Notebook, 10 Things I Hate About You.

7. Gift self-love party favors

Finally, before your girls leave, we love the idea of gifting them with something to remember the Galentine’s Day party. It could be another fun face mask, flowers, pink French macarons, heart-shaped Rice Krispie treats, chocolate covered strawberries or maybe even donuts packaged ever so cutely with a custom Galentine’s Day card.
