The summer months are the perfect time to throw a super chic backyard BBQ. We love the idea of really setting the ambiance by using lighting, seating and, of course, fun food and entertainment.
- Lighting
Lighting is key and the possibilities are endless (and usually pretty inexpensive). You could simply hang Edison string lights around the area or you could even wrap lights around trees in your yard.

2. Seating
We like no muss, no fuss when it comes to backyard BBQ seating. Try floor pillows or simple plush blankets for that cozy feel.

3. Drinks Area
Having a separate drinks area brings another fun element to any backyard BBQ. That said, you don’t need a full bar; we recommend one kind of white wine, one or two different beers, vodka, tequila and rum. Those spirits plus a few mixers (club soda, juice, etc.) and you’re good to go.

5. Play a Movie
Lastly, if you want to have a more relaxing backyard party, we love the idea of buying or renting a movie projector and playing a summer-themed movie.
